Magnolia flower just opening up. This variety of Magnolia flower is huge. Makes quite a statement flowering when no leaves are on the tree at the time of full bloom.

2012 - A new adventure

2012 has come around very quickly. This year will see me venturing into teaching and workshop activities. This is something I really enjoy.

I am also trying some different papers this year. Heavier but softer papers. The Arches 300gsm is a brilliant paper and I love its surface but I am trying a softer surface to see how my style adapts. Could be a big fat waste of frustrating time or work out well.
